Ciao ragazzi! Oggi vi propongo alcune foto che ho scattato in questi giorni. Sono gocce d'acqua, congelate nel tempo dalla macchina fotografica, in effetti secondo me è una cosa un po' magica, tu non puoi vederlo perchè i tuoi occhi non colgono eventi che durano frazioni di secondo, ma puoi "aiutare" i tuoi occhi con uno strumento molto più sensibile e complesso: la macchina fotografica.
Tecnica
E' la prima volta che sperimento questa tecnica, Water Sculptures. Ho usato la mia reflex ( Nikon D5000 ) con un Tamron 70-300 mm f/4-5.6 usato a f/10 su cavalletto; il flash era attivato in automatico ( era meglio avere un flash esterno, tipo un bel Nikon SB 700, ma comunque i risultati mi soddisfano pienamente), gli ISO erano impostati a 2000 per avere 1/200 di secondo come tempo di esposizione; ho usato uno scatto remoto per comandare la macchina a distanza. La parte divertente è quando devi tirare fuori la creatività, sulla scelta dei colori, della disposizioni dei cartoncini per ottenere strani effetti di colori. Ho usato una bacinella in vetro e per sostenere il contagocce e far sì che la goccia cada sempre nello stesso punto ho costruito un supporto in legno. Poi in Photoshop una veloce contrastata ai colori, una maschera di contrasto per rendere i riflessi più luminosi e il gioco è fatto. Gli esperimenti continueranno con altri liquidi, come latte, caffè ealtri con proprietà fisiche diverse e quindi con coportamenti diversi.

Hi guys! Today I propose you some photos I took in these days. These are water drops, frozen in time by camera, I think that is a thing a bit magic, you can't see it because your eyes can't capture events that to last fractions of second, but you can "help" your eyes with an instrument more sensible and complicated: a camera.
Technique
It's the first time I expirience this techinque, Water Sculptures. I used my reflex ( Nikon D5000) with a Tamron 70-300 mm f/4-5.6 set a f/10 on tripod, the flash was activated in "mode auto" ( would have been better to use a external flash, such a beatiful Nikon SB 700, however the result really satisfy me), ISO were set at 2000 to have 1/200 of second as exposure time; I used a remote shutter release to control the distant camera. The funny part is when you pull out your creativity, about the choice of colours, about the disposition of the cards, to obtain strange effects of colours. I used a glass basin and to support the dropper and so that drop fall always in the same point I have built a support in wood. Then in Photoshop a fast contrasted to colors, a unsharp mask and that's it.Experiments will continue with others liquids like milk, coffè and other with different physical properties and therefore with different behaviors.
